Using Data
Qualiservice provides researchers with qualitative research data for re-use (secondary analysis). The Qualiservice database currently comprises 30 studies with over 2800 interviews. In addition to interviews, the dataset includes audio recordings, photos, diary entries, video recordings including transcripts and translations, transcripts of transect walks, audio recordings of environmental landscapes, field notes, chat transcripts and a variety of contextual materials such as codebooks, method reports, interview guidelines, postscripts and exports of coding files for MaxQDA and Atlas.ti. The data is framed by detailed and internationally compatible metadata. This contains, for example, information on the research topic, the study design and the survey methods. Together with the study report - a compilation of contextual information on the study that is important for further use - the metadata will help you to find the right data set for you.
After determining your research interest, Qualiservice will assist you in selecting data that best fit your research purpose. By signing our usage agreement, you agree to use the data in accordance with the Qualiservice terms of use.
Can't find the right data? Please contact us. Several datasets are regularly undergoing curation and are being prepared for subsequent use. We also hold datasets that cannot currently be processed for resource reasons, but whose processing can be requested, e.g. as part of a planned subsequent use. We will be happy to inform you about the possibilities.
